Chili

I’ve tried to find a chili recipe I love and finally have! This one is easy and tasty!

Ingredients:
2 lb lean ground beef
1 large onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp cumin powder
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper
15 ounce can of black beans, drained and rinsed
15 ounce can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
30 ounce can diced tomatoes, with their juices
10 ounce can rotel with their juices
30 ounce can tomato sauce

Directions:

In a large skillet, brown beef and onion until fully cooked. Drain as needed. Add garlic and all seasonings to the meat and cook for another minute. Transfer meat to a 6 qt slow cooker and add in the remaining ingredients. Stir well to combine. Cook on high for 2-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours. Season to taste as desired. Serve with cheddar cheese, green onion, avocado, cilantro, sour cream, jalapenos, fritos, or oyster crackers as you see fit!
