Cream Cheese Wontons
Ingredients:1 package of wonton wrappers8 ounces of cream cheese, softened1 tablespoon of Sriracha1/4 cup of green onions, choppedcrab meat (optional)1 tablespoon of sugar (optional) Directions:Mix your softened cream cheese with your Sriracha and green onions. If using crab meat, fold in 1/2 cup of crab meat. Be gentle so it doesn’t break apart too much! Open up a wonton wrapper, put spoonful in the center. Dip your finger and water and run it along each of the four edges. Fold the wontons to seal the filling. I like sealing mine in triangles. Most Chinese restaurants fold theirs in a fancy way. Garlic Bread
Ingredients:1 loaf of French bread1/2 cup of salted butter, softened2 tablespoons of olive oil1 tablespoon of dried basil1 teaspoon of dried oregano1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese4 cloves of minced garlic1/2 teaspoon of salt1/4 teaspoon of black pepper Directions:Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place on a cookie sheet. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, olive oil, basil, oregano, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper. Spread the butter mixture on both halves of the bread. Bake at 350 for 8 minutes and then broil until brown and crispy. Slice into individual servings.

Sausage Gravy
Ingredients:1 pound breakfast sausage3 tablespoons of butter1/4 cup of all-purpose flour3 cups of whole milksalt and pepper to taste Directions:In a large skillet over medium high heat, cook the sausage until brown and crumbly. If excess oil, drain while keeping a solid tablespoon of the sausage oil in the pan. Add the butter and stir well until melted. Sprinkle sausage with flour, stir, and allow to cook for several minutes until the flour can absorb some of the fat and get golden brown. Add the milk and salt/pepper and stir. Continue stirring occasionally over medium heat until gravy thickens, 5-10 minutes. Serve over biscuits.

Ingredients:2 boxes of Jiffy corn muffin mix4 eggs beaten3/4 cup melted butter1 package frozen corn (12 ounces)1 medium onion, diced1 cup cottage cheese1 pinch of sugar Directions:Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine all ingredients and mix well — it will be thicker than you expect. Pour into buttered 9″ x 13″ casserole dish. Bake in oven for 35-40 minutes until golden brown. This cornbread is very moist and dense. Let it cool for 10 minutes for best flavor.
